We fly LGW-MCO-LGW 10.12.04 and 21.12.04 VS site shows UCS also go to
http://www.flyaow.com/classamex.htm here book yourself a flight in buisness class and select your seat option, here you will see the seat config. So my flights show UCS here and on VS site. My buisness partner flies LGW-BGI october and shows a LHR UCS outbound. Site also works for other airlines. I am no Guru but hope that helps.

The seat map on the VS site for LGW flights has not been updated on manage my bookings. The old config is still there with only A and K seats available. Also no PE showing on lower deck where 11 and 12 were. Anyone know when the VS site will be updated?[8D]

Didn't it take them 12 months to update the 747 seating plan for suites?

Have been testing a few fares out around Christmas time for a cheeky little Orlando getaway, and i'm finding fares around £1500 and the seat maps are showing UCS on the flyaow site. Factor in the exclusivity of the 14 seat cabin (the seat map on flyaow looks absurdly small!) and i think that is somewhat a bargain!
Only lacking a clubhouse in MCO and a revivals lounge at LGW to really round off the package, but then you can't argue when most of the LHR UC fares are at least £300 more for cheapest fares.

Slightly off topic but.....
Should I be worried as I'm booked on the VS61/62 LGW-NAS-LGW next July (with VH) but looking at the Amex seat maps it's showing all 14 Upper seats as been available both outbound and inbound [?]
When do VH send the flight booking to VS [?]
Still nothing yet on the VS web site for NAS or HAV. Neither been able to make bokings or view seat maps.

James,
A friend of mine booked through VH in March for October and after getting the booking reference straight away was able to check the booking very quickly afterwards, but it took some time before the seat maps were available.

Thanks for pointing that out. I have seen fares at this level and that really is about cheap as it ever gets and it's great for UCS too!
I was looking at some flights leaving on Xmas eve, and returning around new year time, so i expected them to be a bit higher because of that.

hi, first post so a bit nervous!!, we have a flight booked for the 5th dec at 12.30 vs015, after reading other posts it seems from others that have also flights booked that flights vs015 will be the planes that have not been refitted but planes vs027 will be the refitted planes, please can anyone confirm this or reasure us that we may stand a chance of a refitted plane on vs015, at the moment we are seriously considering changing our flights to vs027 in the hope of a refitted plane, i understand that no one can guarantee a refitted plane but if we stand a better chance on the 11.15 plane then we can change, i really hope this makes sense to someone!! thanks for any help susie

Hi Susie
Welcome to V-flyer
At the moment VS15 on 5th Dec is showing as a UCS flight

However, according to the list I've got 3 LGW 744s should've been re-fitted by then yet 4 of the 5 flts ex-LGW on 5th are showing as UCS! [?][:0][?]
I think that if you fly anywhere from LGW between Oct and Feb then it'll really be a matter of luck as to whether you get UCS or not...at the moment I can't really say that it's any more or less likely that you'll get one if you transfer to the VS27. Hope that helps! [:p]
Cheers
Alan
ps The Recarro seats are still pretty comfy!

Alan,
Could it be that regarding the two non suite aircraft, that one will be away bieng refitted and that its place is taken by, say, a LHR aircraft? would that explain the 4 out of 5 flights being UCS?
Alan
P.S. i agree, the recarro seats are nice and big and comfy [8D]

Hi Alan
Yes that could be the case but the Res system is showing 4 out of 5 flts in LGW UCS config and according to the info I've got none of the LHR 744s is planned to be re-re-configured until next year. Maybe the Res system will be updated nearer the time.... [?]
Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan,
maybe the expeditors have decided to do two LGW 747's at a time
It does seem strange though......
