Online Check In - No seat info available

We are flying home tomorrow on VS32 and when I went in to Manage My booking earlier to check in, the "Where's my seat" is showing as unavailable, it's not showing the seats we had pre-selected or anything. When I checked in we didn't get to choose seats either so we have just been allocated 4 seats by them. Would there be a reason for this or just something gone wrong somewhere in the system?
Coming out, the aircraft changed from config 1 to config 2 when I checked before OCI opened, our original seat selection was still there and we even managed to get better ones so this one has thrown me! ?|

Hi - I had a similar thing happen to me - the seat selection was unavailable from about 48 hours pre-flight until OLCI opened 24 hours pre-flight. As soon as OLCI opened I could see that I had retained my chosen seat that I had selected months previously.

I think as long as you do OLCI you should have a good choice.

My reading of this was that the OP was doing OLCI when this happened.

In your instance the quota of 60% of the seats for pre-allocation had been reached and in that case the seat map becomes unavailable till OLCI opens when the remaining 40% with the exception of bulkheads and exit rows are released.

It should be pointed out that on all occasions pre-allocations are merely requests and may be changed for operational reasons

The mystery was solved when we arrived at the airport. Our lovely Ladybird had a grand total of 191 passengers for the flight (compared to 454 on the way out!) so everyone in Economy had to sit at the back of the plane for take off and landing. But then we got to spread out for the rest of the flight so can't complain! y)
