Hi all,

we are flying to Havana on Wednesday to celebrate our 25th wedding. can you tell me if it would be better to seek an upgrade doing twilight check in or in the morning also how much would we expect to pay.

You could check now by looking at 'manage my booking' as upgrades (if available) will usually be offered there. There is no harm in asking at twilight check-in either.

No idea as to the cost. Are you wanting to upgrade from Econ to PE or to UC?

Wow thank you for the quick reply, I have looked on manage my flight but there is no option to check seats or upgrade, I think this is due to booking with Hayes and Jarvis and not direct???

ExpertFlyer shows the flight on Wednesday as follows:

Which means there is one seat for sale in economy but that Premium Economy and UC are wide open

There is no harm in asking at Twilight check-in and if the price is acceptable then take it. You could wait till the morning but the chance is that others may have accepted the upgrade may well push up the price.

The mantra here is if the price is acceptable, then take it

That is a good price and the usual 'on the day' offer price also. I doubt it will be any better today, but interesting to know if it is.
