I know there are many topics on UC seating but I cant seem to find what I'm after....so I thought I'd ask :D

Last time I travelled UC from St Lucia we were upstairs and the quiet cabin was great for trying to sleep. This time I'm travelling alone..on business..and its a daytime flight so dont want to be too bored with nothing to watch. The route is LGW - LAS

Currently the a/c is a LHR config 3 with UC both up and down...any advice?

Downstairs in the A-zone (seats 12 - 19) would be my preference on a 747. More spacious cabin

I agree with Tonty.

Remember that the upstairs cabin now has economy seats in the rear half of the cabin, which among other things, means that they get off the plane before you

As others have said, rows 12 -19 in the nose section are the best.

Cannot understand why the VS website still shows 744 config 3 maps when they are all config 4 now with both upper and economy on the upper deck?

One of the MCO flights next March is also showing a LHR config 3 744.

Thanks for the advice. Booked 19A. Seats towards the front of the nose section look a little 'intimate'. :X
