1.5 guests in the LHR Clubhouse as an AU flying premium?

Hi,

Flying with the better half and our 3yr old daugher to NY in Dec in premium econ. I'm an AU and wondering if there's any options/approaches for getting both into the clubhouse.

I read some old threads that indicated they were trialling allowing people to pay for extra guests.

Anyone have any recent experience or thoughts? Can I ask for an extra pass at check in or is better to just try our luck and hope the 3yr old is in super cute mode when approaching the club house?

Thanks in advance for any advice/insight.

Dave

Hi Dave and a belated welcome to V-Flyer from me.

I suppose the short answer is that if you politely ask, then there is a chance that they will allow you and your better half and daughter to join you.

They can only say no, and if they do, then don't be offended.

I think the opportunity to pay can be exercised if the Clubhouse is not too full, but ISTBC

Hi

If it's any use to you. I recently enjoyed the delights of LGW CH when we flew to MCO on 28/10. I accompanied Sunshine & we were able to pay for 'love-him-as-I-do-but' without any problems.

The only problem we had was deciding what to eat & drink :D

They certainly used to allow an AU member to take an extra guest in - subject to capacity (price at LHR was £60 for an adult, not sure if it was a different price for children). Given the age of your daughter I would hope they wouldn't charge anything.
