Car service or cab from Newark Hotel to Woodside, Queens

Hi All
We fly into Newark next Tues, then have an overnight at a local hotel. We need to get from Newark to Woodside, Queens the next day - does anyone know of a reliable car service and its rough cost, or what I could expect to pay in a yellow cab I've heard horror stories about Newark gypsy cabs, but we'd be going from the Best Western so presume reception would call a local company.

ta muchly in advance

If you take a cab at the airport - the taxi dispatcher who is at the taxi rank asks for your destination and on that basis gives you a paper dispatch note stating exactly what you should pay - the only extras will be tolls and tip. So there is no fear of any taxi rip offs.
Not sure if the same applies from the airport hotels - perhaps it's not likely. So simply ask the fare in advance and that is that.
We often do Newark to Brooklyn and I recall the fare is about $50 to $ 60
Hope this helps.
Good luck

The car service the company I work for is UTOG.

Can't advise on a cost though - sorry.
