airmiles transfer on death

i have a family member who died and has large amount of miles
in their account. Is it possible to transfer to another family
members account?

Yes, I recently did this for a close family member who passed. You will need to send in the death certificate and a copy of the will. If you are not the sole beneficiary then you will need written writing from all the named persons so that you can have the miles. Once these are sent in an email it should take a week or two for the miles to be credited to your account.

Indeed - when my Mother died recently she specifically bequeathed her BA miles to my Father; my Parents had been advised that Airmiles could not have been shared in her estate as needed to be specified seperately in the same way as bonds.
