Even though English Rose doesn't fly to JFK, Cape Town, Sydney (thank god to be honest, it's an LGW a/c!) |:)... I'll get my coat.

Good VS sense of humour though!

Hi all

Yes, quite right, trust you experts to spot the deliberate errors/poetic licence!

As background for you, and as a bit of insider info, the video is a bit of promotional material to support our Flight Tracker app and isn't a commercial/ad. You won't see it on TV, just on YouTube. App videos are getting popular e.g. see the one for The New Yorker iPad app on YouTube.

No doubt you recognise the actor is Alex MacQueen, from TV’s ‘The Inbetweeners’, ‘Miranda’ and ‘The Thick Of It’. It was commissioned by myself (so just blame me if you don't like it!) and designed/produced by our web design agency LBi. They also used a third party called Hoot Comedy who specialise in humorous content and who I think did a great job.

We have all had a rough year what with strikes, ash and snow, so just treat the video as a bit of lighthearted fun. If you are wondering, yes the Terry character was based on me... :)

Like the advert, it made me laugh. The application looks quite good too - just hope they make it available for the BlackBerry Playbook tablet when it's out (sorry, I am no fan of the iPhone / iTouch).

Funny, but ever so slightly creepy.
