VS75 today

Have just looked at todays VS75 flight path on flightaware;

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/VIR75

Seems like the flight made a notable deviation South of Icelend from the intended route, before correcting the deviation to almost go back on course again. Just wondered if anyone had any idea why this may be? (I know a v-flyer member is on board this flight today, so possible that a trip report may reveal the reason in due course).

Thanks
James

heavy snowstorms and bad weather in East Coast US, hundreds of flights cancelled

Suspect it's just a spurious location or two that've made their way into the Flight Tracker database.

Check the "Track Log & Graph" under Status.
Much of the displayed flightpath outside US airspace is estimation rather than actual recorded locations.
