Flight Tracker iPhone App
Posted: 29 Dec 2010, 03:20...seems to be launching V-Flyer straight into Toolbox, and there's no option to get out or to the forums. Mobile site is working great. Anyone else got the same problem?

You can still access the full site by scrolling down to 'About V-Flyer' and then scroll down to 'Switch to Main Site'.

Yeah, found that - it's how I created the original post.
It's only started happening this week though - a strange decision, and why have VS made it, when it's not a VS website? If anything, the forum is a better advert for Virgin than the Facebook pages...
Oh, and by the way...all of the Flying Club UK numbers are unobtainable/out of service now.

Posted: 04 Jan 2011, 18:35Hi BigDave, you can still get to the v-flyer app on you iPhone by scrolling down to 'about us' then at the bottom of that click on 'switch to main'.
It was noted on another post that it was a decision by VS to amend the links on the iPhone app.

Posted: 05 Jan 2011, 18:08It wasn't a decision by VS, but rather by me. The reasoning being that that uses a modified version of the site (one which doesn't include the contentious parts like seat ratings, etc), and that the login problems of running the forum / community sections from within the VS app were a bit of a headache, so the most popular tollbox items are the ones that go into the VS app, but you can still bookmark V-Flyer to your home screen on the iPhone and get the full forum / community / toolbox options.
