Hi,

I understand that limo's are usually booked for 1 or 2 PAX. My older folks would like to travel together as 3 PAX with a reasonable amount of luggage to LHR from the home counties. Is this feasible/anyone done this?

I've seen the following on the VS website but it's a little vague

Can I take other passengers in the car with me?
Yes, you can take other people travelling to/from the same airport to/from the same address, up to the capacity of the car.

Can I make other special requests such as for a larger car or ski racks, for example?
Special requests for features such as these must be made at least 12 hours before the flight in question. We will do our best to arrange your request but cannot guarantee in all cases.

You can have 3 pax in the car, but I guess it depends on how much luggage you have as to whether you could do this! When you book the car you can also request an estate car, but they do advise that this is a request and not guarenteed! However whenever I have requested one I have always had one!

If you do have a lot of luggage then provided you are all travelling UC (on a j,d or r class ticket or a g and paid with miles) you could book 2 cars! When I have done this in the past with 3 people, we all travelled in one car and all the luggage went in the other!

I've done it before with 3 of us *and* 3 x snowboards + luggage.

They did say they'd do their best... The best was an estate car. It was a squeeze, and this was in the day when a 120 mile trip was allowed...!

Still - got us there, on time, and with a LOT more simplicity than the alternatives
