V-Flyer

my son is coming to stay with us in APril and will be flying back RSW-MCO with south west and then VS MCO-LGW.

the Jet blue arrival gate is in the same area as the VS departure ,however he will have a checked bag with him. does anyone know if he can clear security and get it checked straight through in RSW or will he have to reclaim then check in and redo security ?

he will have around 2.5 hours between landing and take off which could be a bit tight if he is delayed ?

Does Jet Blue have an interline agreement with VS? You can only ask at check-in.

If not he will have to do the usual collecting bag then going to VS desks to check it in.

Southwest will not interline bags. He will have to go to bag claim and get his bag and recheck it.
