Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me??

I am traveling PE LGW - MCO and I just wanted to know if these planes would be fitted with the new seats, etc by March 2012 when I travel?

Also do I need to do anything to get upstairs in the "bubble"??

Sorry if this is a daft question.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to V-Flyer

There's no such thing as a daft question so don't worry on that score.

With regard to your flights, if it is on a 747, it is unlikely it will have the new seats. The flight might be on the new A330-300 but others are more clued in to this than me.

If it's a 330-300 there will be no bubble but to get into the bubble on the 747 you should go into the Manage my Booking page on the Virgin Atlantic website and put in your PNR (it's a 6 alpha-numeric number on your e-ticket) and select your seats from there

Have you booked? If so, I presume you have booked with Virgin Holidays and if so, others have more expertise than me about accessing that page using your VH number

They will be along shortly :D

Hello honey lamb, thanks. I believe that I can't access the booking on VA until 11 months before??

Last time I had to call them then to obtain the e-ticket number. Yes booked with VH.

Alas we can't check which type of aircraft until April as airlines don't allow you to book until 336 days before travel. Travel agents have an allocation and can do so. If you have booked with Virgin Holidays and your flight is on a 747, VH have the front half of the bubble allocated to them so I would suggest you contact them and request seats. If not, then you must wait till after Easter before you can do anything about seats

I did ask them and they said I have to wait until April and then do it through VA.

Thank you anyway :)

Shouldn't the fleet refurb be pretty much complete by March 2012? The 2nd A330 is to cover the 744 refurb and that will arrive this May.
