Bassinets / Seat Allocations on Virgin flight

Hi all, this is my first post on V-Flyer. I've only flown once before with Virgin Atlantic (LGW-LAS) but that was with a friend, this is with my family (wife, a 1yr old and a 6yr old).

When booking the flights (LGW-MCO, package with Virgin Holidays) we requested a bassinet and were told this should be okay but they couldn't allocate the seats at that point. From looking at the typical plane configuration, I'm assuming to have a bassinet we would need to be in any of the three bulkhead rows (we are in economy). Does anyone know if this is correct or is it possibly to have a bassinet in seats other than the bulkhead?

Thanks!
Rob

Hi Rob and welcome to V-Flyer. I suspect the reason VH are unabale to confirm yet is because your flight is some time away??

VH get their allocations long before the normal 330 days for folks booking direct with the Airline.

Your right , Bassinets are at the Bulkheads

Thanks for the reply. The flight is actually on Monday! I'll try calling VH again.

Just called VH and we are going for the twilight boarding option on Sunday which should get us into 3 seats in row 20 which would be absolutely perfect.
