V-Flyer

I will be flying with virgin atlantic to San Francisco this summer. I will be flying in premium economy I have already booked my seats and I found that I will be on a Boeing 747-400 and it is seating config 4 as it is going from LHR. I would like to know whether this plane will have the V:Port system and also whether this plane will have the new premium economy seating. Also what are the positive points of premium economy e.g. what do you get that you don't get in economy

Yes LHR plane almost certainly V-port

If by 'new PE seat' you mean the purple leather then yes

As to the differences - slighty larger seat and extra leg room, smaller, more private cabin. Main meal servied on china and not in foil. Priority boarding (and after UC 1st off the plane) and separate check-in area. Extra check-in baggage allowance 2*23KG not 1*23KG

On board facilities are subject to their not having to be a last minute plane changr of course
