V-Flyer

I am booked oni VS6 next year (Jan 2012). Currently the schedule is showing a departure from MIA at 19:55. I know that this year the schedule got changed (currently flights are departing at 21:35).

I am trying to book a flight from GCM-MIA to connect. My options appear to be KX102 (dep 07:45 arrive 10:05), or KX106 (dep 17:40 arrive 20:00).

My only choice appears to be to catch the early morning flight and then spend the whole day in Miami. I guess that we could leave our bags in left luggage). My preference would be to catch the evening flight, but only an option if VS6 is rescheduled to a later slot.

Any comments from the experts?

I'd check on the MIA airport website re if there is anywhere for lost luggage due to the sometimes over zealous security concerns.

We normally hire a car from the day and spend it around the malls in Miami due to the early flight from GCM
