Following my flight home from MCO with a broken arm , I emailed VS customer services to say how much I appreciated and applauded the efforts of the staff on my flight to make me comfortable etc. I received a reply from (name removed) in which he said he would pass on my comments to the staff who would be pleased to read them. I've been hoping since that they really would get to view my email and that that wasn't just an empty promise. I was wondering if anyone knows for sure if staff do get the thanks they deserve ?

I have asked CC before, and have been told that when you do write in with compliments, they do get passed down.
Sometimes I hear differently, but I hope your's do.

I wrote in about excellent service I had received on a flight and received the same kind of letter. A couple of years later the same cabin crew member was on my flight, remembered me from then and thanked me for writing in. So, yes, it does get passed on

From my experience, they do get to see.
I have also been told when the member of staff has been promoted and thanked for sending my letter that helped build up evidence in their favour.
So I guess that even if they don't get to see it personally, it will help them in their career.
