I'm flying to New York in April with virgin Atlantic. I want to fly mustang sally (G-VROC) as it has the new livery what should I do to get the best chance that my flight will be operated by (G-VROC).

Thanks,
Adam

There is nothing you can do, all the a/c operate all the flights so it is impossible to predict.

They never release the a/c registrations in advance due to security reasons.

Thanks neil, but do think i have a better chance if i take VS045 or VS001 both are operated by a beoing 747 (most of the time).

Well of course you will have more chance on one of the flights usually operated by a 747, I thought you were trying to be more specific.

VS New Livery

Nice as the new livery is.... v( , the only difference once you are on board is this view of G-VROC

On the a/c that have the new livery? Nothing, they are the same inside, it is only the outside that has changed.

Think VS1 would be the best bet, but like said before aircraft change all the time, in April VS1 goes 747 pretty much permanently, and when EWR had the 747 during Dec and Jan G-VROC was the most common. (the last week of 747 in Jan G-VROC operated every flight).

A/C with new livery are G-VROC operating out of LHR and G-VAST and G-VXLG operating out of LGW and MAN, though XLG looking a bit sorry for herself where some of the paint has already peeled off the engines :(

I fly on Mustang Sally to Cuba from Gatwick last year, would be good to see the new livery when I head to NYC in May
