Hi there,

The virgin atlantic website currently lists the movies on for march. Will these still be on end of march or do they change to Aprils movies a couple of days early?

Is there a particular date of every month that they change the movies?

Thanks.

The movies currently listed will in most cases be onboard until the 31st. Usually I've personally found VS to be quite good at changing the movies over on the 1st of the month; but it can occasionally take a week or so for them to fully change all the planes entertainment listings, as I guess it relies on how much turn around time the plane gets.

I'm sure someone who travels more frequently can help inform you a bit more.

Kev.

Having been on the VS21 to IAD on 28th February and enjoyed readingthe Seatback magazine (for March) promising the Kings Speech, True Grit, Black Swan etc etc I was hugely disappointed to find the films were still from February. As it was my 3rd flight in February I'd already exhausted all the options!
So, the magazne changed early, but the films don't change until the 1st of the month (or when the aircraft next lands at its UK base).

Thanks for the quick reply.

We should have the AVOD system (V port?) as we are flying to JFK. So HOPEFULLY there should be new movies for april within the first week? ii)

I had the opposite experience to stunnedmullet on one of my flights last year - I flew a day or so before the end of the month, and the new films were already loaded but, IIRC, the magazine was from the current month. :?

there are around 50 movies to choose from on V-Port anyway, the March movies should still be around on the list, as well as a few new ones if flying in April
