Morning from the Gatwick Clubhouse

The standard morning from the Clubhouse. Check-in very quiet this morning and through in a few minutes. Fast track decidedly slow track this morning ( but it looked like every man and his dog were using it - didn't see many stickers on boarding passes )

Anyho, straight up to the Clubhouse to learn of an hours delay, mainly due to the clock change ( which really caused confusion last night after arriving late at the Hilton and trying to figure out what time I needed to set the alarm to watch the first GP of the year )

More time in the Clubhouse ):

Breakfast seems to be back to a reasonable size and just about to start on the champers y)

Might even try for a treatment as it looks pretty quiet.

Over all, a good start to what was a last minute trip and what will be a week of sitting at the pool 8D ( just a pity about the drive thro penalty n( )

Thanks

David

Thanks for the good wishes - interesting to sit here and look at all the different coloured tails on display - especially the new dark red one (with the peeling paint ): ) which is changing colour as the sun burns through the mist.

It's a very dark red, almost maroon, until the sun gets through then it really starts to sparkle.

Clubhouse beginning to fill up now, so I guess it's time for another refreshment :?
