seated together?

Hey all
In a few week myself and my partner are due to fly with Virgin for the first time. We are departing from LHR to JFK and returning from Newark to LHR.
We booked our break away through the travel agents and where not given any flight options. I have a code to log onto manage bookings. From this i noted that on both flights we are sat quite away from each other (realy not impressed by this). Currently the seats are in economy.

Does anyone know if there is anyway we can try and get sat together? Even if it involves paying extra. I know it sounds silly but the flight is the start of the holiday so dont want to be seperated especially on a long flight!

Thanks for any help!

Hi and welcome to the site.

You still have numerous options available to yo. Firstly only 60% of seats are available for pre-allocation, so that leaves 40% still to be allocated. Officially these become available at OLCI stage, but it is worth checking a few hours before that opens as there have been times when seats become available beforehand.

If you are still not able to change in either of those situations, then get to the airport early, see what they have available, and then as a last resort you could buy either an exit row or extra legroom seat (if not already sold).

Hope you manage to get things sorted.
Thanks,
Neil

if all else fails speak to the crew in the economy cabin when you board they maybe able to ask people to move so you cam sit together, normally not a problem on these flight as they have lots of buisseness people travelling alone, but i really do think you will get moved at check in, if you get there early.
