This is a fab service but unlike an airport there are no lanes for UC PE Y so lucky old me in UC has to q with everyone else in the heat and last time it took 1.5 hours! I know i sound like a spoilty child but similar to the priority boarding thread should a premium service offer dedicated check in for UC and PE?[8D]

I don't see any huge advantage of check in and chill out for premium class pax.
Just like the twilight check in at LGW, it is great for economy class pax, if they want to get a better choice of seats, or avoid the bigger queues.
PE and UC pax are faced with minimal or no queues, so why bother?

For me the advantage was to get rid of our bags early in the day, which allowed us to spend the rest of the day with just our (minimal) hand luggage ambling around the holiday island (before a mad dash to arrive at the airport 10 minutes before the flight was due to leave). Why spend the last 3 hours of your holiday in an airport when you can be doing tourist things?

We were flying out of ANU good point about not bothering with check in and chill out, just do it at the airport[8D]

There is always the bell desk at the hotel to store your bags and if a lounge is avalible at the airport 3 hours of getting your monies worth:D[xx(]

Haivng been to ANU flying PE (on AMM) all i will say is that the airport isnt great! Its reasonable with a couple of shops and two or three food outlets but i would do what i did and that is check in ealrier in the day and then go to the airport, pay the dept tax and walk straight on the plane!

If you do take advantage of check-in chill-out when you complete the form that details all your departure details remember to write in the notes section that you need UC baggage tags....the check in agents will not automatically have any on them.
