Hi from a long time reader, just registered last week and had planned to write some trip reports over Easter, but I have a problems when I try and login - I have just managed to login through my iPhone but it can up with a message saying my account has been banned.

I have tried several times to login and asked for a new password but nothing seems to work.

Can anyone give me some advice please, thanks in advance

Welcome to the site.
For the past few weeks, we have been having major problems with spammers. This has meant that Pete has had to try and come up with ways of protecting the site from the onslaught posts advertising porn, dodgy software and illicit drugs. B)

The downside to this, is that several genuine new posters have found it difficult to get their posts into the forums. This is because the first few posts by new members have to be approved by a moderator before they appear.

I don't think your account has been banned, as this post was in the queue waiting for approval.

Please persevere with your trip reports, but I would advise you to write them in word or other document, then cut and paste into the site, rather than type out a great long report only to lose it.

Thanks for a quick reply (deleted my cookies), I will start writing my trip reports from last year tomorrow.

Just another quick question, I was thinking about doing a trip report from our first UC experience in 2008 to LA, are people interested about trip reports so far back?

IMO, the more TR's the better.

Tink is right, we never say no to trip reports. The more the merrier. y)
