Load check discrepancy?

Hi all,
I decided to give expert flyer a go so that I'm not bugging other people for load checks in future. I thought I'd try out my next flight, which is VS400 to DXB on the 26th May. It comes up as totally full, zeros across the board. But on the VA website there is availability in all classes... Does anyone with more experience than me know why there's this apparent disrepancy of information?
thanks
RC

Welcome to the world of airline overselling.
The flight might be fully booked but airlines know that there will always be a number of no-shows for most flights, so they over fill it.

Try that again as there are seats showing in all classes except X, N and O, it might have been an EF glitch.
I have just realised that would be a waste of one of your free queries so maybe not worth it.
Sometimes the link between the airlines and systems like EF has a senior moment so it shows no seats available.
I know that one cabin on my flight tomorrow is oversold but they are still selling it and even offering reward availability so I am going to be there as early as I can to try and score an upgrade!

I forgot about the overselling issue... although I agree that 'glitch' is the more likely answer here. As you say, I won't waste my free searches on this, will see how it goes next time...

Although overselling would of course be nice in my quest for a miles upgrade, on my lowly N class fare...
