V-Flyer

Hi, Is there a table or page that tells you which plane will be flying which route in the future ? If there is where can it be found............?

Unfortunately not, due to security reaons VS does not disclose this information until the day of the flight. You can always try and figure out the most probable aircraft by using the Which Aircraft? tool on this site!

I think the OP means which aircraft type, not specific aircraft reg.

I must admit I took it that the OP was asking about specific aircraft rather than just a/c type.

I guess it doesn't matter - as either way VS don't publish that information really either. There is a plan/schedule but things change so frequently you can never be sure.

If you look in the 'schedule' in the toolbox your flight you will get an indicaton of the type but not the named aircraft though you might be able to work it out as some planes seam to fly the same routes

I know it will be an A340-600 I just wondered which IFE system it would have or do all A340-600's have the same ?

All the A340-600's are fitted with the V-Port IFE.

I'm sure I've seen a list of aircraft type by route for each timetable period on here (probably posted by a VS staff member).

It would say e.g. VS45 is a 747 Fri/Sat/Sun and a 346 Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu in the summer season.

Just be careful - that thread relates to 2008 schedules.

Yep, I did note that it was 2008 when I read it, just didn't type it! My brain was telling me that similar info should be available for the current time, that's all.

I think this was the post you were thinking of about the VS45...
