Seat allocations at greater than T-330 days?

Hi

I've been an 'early bird' and booked my April 2012 LGW to Las Vegas trip this week. I'm going out on 14th and coming back on 18th. I actually managed to book on T-331 days, which I didn't know was possible (IATA 330 day rule). I've managed to confirm a seat out, but not back. Is this because the return leg is still more than 330 days away? - The flight isn't full, as Expert FLyer is showing all buckets of PE on the return at '9'. Or does it mean that they're not sure which aircraft is doing the return leg, and they don't want people to book the 'bubble' if it's an A340 or something?

Regards

Peter

Thanks Tonty - this is another case of the V-Flyers knowing more than the Premium FC staff will admit to....
