A few LGW / LAS questions

Hi fellow V-Flyers! (My first post!)

I'm heading off to LAS next Saturday (28th May). I've just done a search online and from the prices, I'm I right in saying that the loading is very full? Is it likely that the flight is overbooked (I'm in LAS for 7 days so wouldn't mind volunteering if fair compensation was offered)?

What's the chances of there being any offers for paid upgrades to PE being available at check-in? Any idea how much these are normally for?

Finally, I'm familiar with the LHR aircraft but haven't from VS from LGW for 3 or so years. Do they still have the old PE seats? Are the Y seats also the old ones with small screens (I'll pack my laptop if that's the case)

Many thanks for your help. It's great there are so many experts on here!

Jon

Your flight is very full and in all likelihood oversold

J2 D0 R0 Z0 W0 S0 K0 Y0 B0 L0 M0 Q0 X0 N0 O0

In that case it is well worth asking at the airport if they are looking for volunteers and asking what is on offer

PE is full/oversold so there is no chance of a paid upgrade

Yes they still do have the old PE seats. The refits are due to commence later in the year

Finally, welcome to V-Flyer. Enjoy your stay here y)

That is memorial day weekend, don't bump yourself, every hotel in town will sell out, you don't show your reservation will cancel and good luck getting a room until Tuesday.
