Only two types of cheese ...

So, am sitting at the bar on the VS10 post-take-off on Friday night, with a colleague, plan for one or two glasses of the currently nice pinot, and a plate of cheese.

All is well until I spot only two pieces of cheese. I question this with the CC and get two minutes of how on late East Coast flights they only ever have two cheese selections.

Hmmm.

We look over our shoulder at another trolley of plates to see each stocked with three choices.

Why do people do this ?| . Added to the "oh we always shut the bar two hours before landing in SFO" and other similar tales ... seems some CC take us for fools!

Any other obviously made up CC stories?

'we really do value your custom and look forward to welcoming you back on board soon'

'of course the sleep suits are all checked and freshly laundered'

And especially for you Slinky

'yes sir, cherry tomatos in gravy are the new taste sensation'

Hmm methinks you were given a cheese plate from an express tray (where are only two types of cheese) instead of one of the proper cheese plates (where there are always three types of cheese).
