interesting question, so only 60% of seats are released prior to check in. when I did OLCI last night there were NO options to change ......and I got seq 2 !! so hows that one work ?

also if anyone can see how busy PE and UC are please

Interesting that you didn't have any options to change. The seat map though on EF shows UC full and PE the same which with seats available seems a little strange!?

Sorry, PE has 8 seats blocked on EF but UC is showing as not a single seat free - perhaps they have processed upgrades already!!

It only shows the seats as blocked because they're not 'pre-requestable'! With the load as it is, bums are likely allocated to those seats.

hmm thanks guys, i am flying with hand luggage only and planned on going straigh through security avoiding the desks. wonder if they would have exit row seats left ...

The reason why you won't have had the option to change seats is because the cabin is fairly full and the system will have automatically allocated seats to those pax that won't have had the option to pre-request any.

This is often what happens in all cabins and is done to try and makes many people sit together as possible.
