V-Flyer

Okay then... here goes.. the big question, of which there is no real answer but I'd love you're advice.

Arriving in MIA at 4.20pm.. in theory. Should I get my internal flight at 7.55pm or 6.30pm... I'll need to collect baggage and clear customs before re-checking in.

In theory I should be able to make the 6.30, assuming I'm quick off the plane from PE, and get to customs hopefully not behind another 747... but I know MIA is a nightmare airport.

Personally I'd go for the later connection, chill out and have se dinner before the connection

Also, US domestics are quite often more flexible so if you do get through in good time they *may* be able to put you on the earlier flight.

To save stress and hassle, I'd go with the later

Good point Luke... annoyingly the earlier flight is Delta, the later is AA, so no chance of me getting through earlier and getting on an earlier flight.
