Hi

We're currently booked in 61 A&C on the 747 (the ones in a two at the back of the plane) Have just looked at the seat map and 62 A&C, 64 A&C, 61 H&K and 64 H&K have just become available.

Is there any differences between any of these? Shall we just stick with what we've got? Row 61 is the first row where it changes from blocks of 3 to blocks of 2.

Would assume all the rows of 2's are the same, although never sat at the back on the 747's. Just maybe the second row might be better, as the first row will still have three seats in front of it, but the second row will only have two and therefore should have a bit more space.

Like Neil, I have not tried the 60's rows on a 744, but I have heard that the first row is not ideal because the IFE screen is offset to your seat. If you go one row back, the screen is directly in front of you. On that basis 62 would be better.

Ive had the back row of the 2 seats on a 747 twice, and the row in front of those twice. The back back row has two advantages imo; 1 - no one behind to kick your seat, 2 - I was able to fully recline all the way without worrying about anyone behind. Funny story there actually, I was reclined on landing by mistake and no one noticed

Whatever seats you choose the 2's at the back are great seats.
