Hi All,
I would be grateful for your views about what is acceptable attire when flying UC, apart from the sleep wear Virgin hand out on an overnight.
Thinking about taking something very casual to change into in the CH before we board for SFO, or indeed on the aircraft.
Thank You

Whatever you want
How casual is very casual?

I have seen shorts and flip flops.
Jeans and a t-shirt are very common.
Suits for travelling businessmen coming direct from their last meeting.
As Hamster says ... whatever you want

I'd go with with you feel comfy in but then again it's always nice to dress up a bit for a special ocassion such as being in the CH.
I usually change (once on board) into some of my own lounge pants. They are comfy and I know they have been washed!
Some of us debate whether the ninja suits are 'acceptable attire' at all !

Black tie...
Especially on the MCO route

)
Its irrelevant, what you feel most comfy in...

I've always thought that smart dress is for Y or PE if you're hoping to score an upgrade. Really with UC, you're at the top of the ladder already, so why bother to try and impress anyone, the fact that you're turning left at the door says it all...
Never really understood why anyone travels in a suit - I've always managed to find time to change in the CH beforehand even when rushing to get back from JFK on a friday evening...

Another vote for, whatever you are most comfortable in. There is no dress code and you've paid for your seat, so it is your choice.

Shorts, T-shirt and flip flops for me all the time.
Mankini's may raise an eyebrow or 2 but at least there's be no need for additional security searches.....

Mmmm sexy.

I'm planning on wearing a light shirt, comfy trousers and some nice shoes for my UC trip to SFO. Just in case there's a fit CSM..

Thank you kind people. Wonderful sense of humour as usual.
Must admit to having dressed to the nines on occasions which resulted in upgrades with Delta.
I will no doubt dress up a tad for my first grand entrance into the CH, then change into lounge wear for the flight....flip flops and shorts should do it l think

)
Thanks Again

I tend to change into something comfy once on board! I'd be happy wearing whatever I want(within reason!)
Might as well be comfortable for the long flight

Mind you, the staff in the CH (and the driver of the CDC, and the check-in staff and the cabin crew) looked askance at my nephew who, in spite of the best efforts of his mother and myself, turned up in a football shirt! :0

Well it was Newcastle United shirt if I remember correctly ...
Mind it could have been worse - he could have dressed like Decker :w :w

i always save a clean t-shirt to change into before landing after an overnight flight, its surprising how much fresher it makes you feel

Indeed it was, tonty
and you are quite right about some of Decker's sartorial tastes ):

I stopped wearing the tiara when it was damaged in the CH hot tub one trip! Non crease comfortable clothes are essential but I also pack my own PJ's for long flights. We ought to have V-Flyer PJ's? y)

I agree with HL. I tend to try and avoid the football shirted masses when I leave the country!
