V-Flyer

I will be flying from MAN-MCO-MAN in Sept on the LGW 747 in PE and have already selected my bubble seats. Obviously PE cabin upgrades on the LGW 747 is not happening until later in the year n( and according to the VS website that there are 2 other different PE seats (see top 2 photos).

I couldn't find any answers in the 'Aircraft Database' under 'The Toolbox' and the search function is quite difficult to find anything. So my questions are which LGW 747 are equipped with which PE seats? I presume the left photo on the website is a newer seat to the right photo and which seat do people prefer?

ITSTBC but I believe it's only the seats on the right now, all in red and the seats on the left have been phased out.

There are also rumours that the upgrades aren't happening until summer 2012 now

Ah I presumed these have been replaced by the new purple leather seats in the LHR 747 and A346.

Actually just thinking about this, I believe the seating type on the left from the website is actually still used downstairs on the LGW/MAN 747 fleet.

Seats on the left - downstairs in PE.

Seats on the right - upstairs in PE.

The purple leather seats are fitted on the LHR 744, 343, 346 and 330.
