Hi All
I have noticed that the VS19 LHR-SFO is late a few times a week always about 2 hours ? Other times it is spot on time.
Any suggestions / reason ?
I know 2 hours is not a lot but when you have been at the airport for 2/2.5 hours alrady 2 more hours is annoying.

Since May, the VS19 has left late 5 times, once was less than 30 mins late, the other 4 all over 30 mins late which I personally don't think that is pretty bad going.

We will never know the exact reasons for the delay, but the most likely are a delay on the inbound aircraft, or a tech problem that meant either a delay until it was fixed or an a/c swap.

Unfortunately there really isn't much we can do about delays, so I wouldn't worry about it to much and if you are unfortunate then just go with the flow, getting stressed or annoyed won't change the situation.

VX have been posting on their Facebook page quite a bit recently about weather related delays in the SFO area so this may be the reason

Neil, on the 9th June the flight left at 1550 i/o 1300 bit longer that 30 mins I feel?

Anyway as was stated go with the flow there is nothing I can do about it.

My longest Virgin delay was 9 hours LHR-MIA so 3 hours doesnt seem that bad.....

Yes, I know, which is why I said over 30 mins late rather than just 30mins late (over 30 mins is classed as a long delay).

We have had our flight cancelled twice, resulting in a 24 hour delay on both occasions, these things happen, mighty frustrating at the time, but not the end of the world (usually).

Is it me or does Thursday seem to be a bad day for the VS19?

You guessed it--- Im travelling PE to SFO next Thursday?

Start of 3 week vacation, not at LHR please.
