VS Cabin crew items fetching big money on EBay.

Just noticed some VS Cabin crew shoes, handbag and other items for sale on EBay.

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/threesixtycs/m.h ... 4340.l2562

Currently, the pair of used shoes are at £62, a belt is also going for £62 and the handbag is at £245 with well over four days to run on the auction.

CC should be clearing out their wardrobes of all their old stuff at this rate. 8D ;)

What a stupid person. The items won't be on EBay for long.

Maybe the seller has left VS and is having a clear out of old memories for cash...oh dear!

I'm surprised VS haven't had these removed, unless there are no rules on selling uniform.

The items must be relevatively recent, considering the book is dated 2007.

Surely there is a security risk....if you were to purchase all of the items listed plus a red shirt and skirt you could pose as crew!

For VS to get them removed they have to prove that they have been stolen - it is not just a simple matter of E-Bay responding to a request from a Company n( n(

I think it's an eBay rule that you can't sell a work uniform younger than 10 years old or one that closely resembles a current uniform. Something like that, will try find the rule...

Edit: I probably imagined it :P can't find anything

Also can you no-longer delete your own posts?

Well I'd have to shave my legs first. And I've never liked high heels.

Never ceases to amaze me the things people will sell/buy on e-bay! Who in this world would want to buy a pair of 'well worn airport shoes' !
Am I missing something here :(

Surely there must be a bucket load of fake tan and bright red lippy on sale as well?

Perhaps it's VS buying them up to identify who they were issued to?

I've just clicked on the link and everything from the ebayer, "threesixtycs" has disappeared. Methinks VS had it all pulled.

It looks like he/she did manage to sell:
**VIRGIN ATLANTIC CABIN CREW SHIRT, SCARF, CARDIGAN** (#250837855055) for £100.00

before the shutters came down v(

I wonder if VS will be asking for the 100 quid for the sale of their stolen goods?

They apparently keep more of an eye on here, than they do EBay, judging by this, and this :D 8D

Yep I noticed all the listings ended unsold and each one says 'the item is no longer available' ;)

Can't help noticing there are still plenty of VS items from other sellers on there, smelly shoes seem to be popular and selling :$

Can we not jump to the conclusion that these items were stolen from VS please.

We don't know what the VS policy is on staff retaining these items if they leave VS employment though VS are well within their legal and staff contract rights to say staff can keep otems like these as a memento but that they can't sell them.

Tonty

You are quite right - we don't know the facts, so these could be legitimate. But it does seem suspicious how the original items - there were 7 or 8 with 4 days to go - did disappear in one fell swoop... :w

Makes me think things were not quite Kosher
