Now this could be down to fare availability, however does seem odd (IT again?): prices quoted for "per adult"
Man-MCO Y/UC 10/12/11 to 21/12/11
chk for single adult: £1345
Two adults: £1457
Two plus mini: £1700
(quote per adult)

It's down to the UC bucket availability - looks like only one seat available on the 21st in Z, which is the £1345, for 2 you are quoted for R, which is £1457, and if you go above that it quotes for D...
I guess you could minimize the uptick through 3 seperate bookings, so you get the one Z seat, the one R and the final one as D...

Agree, it must be down to fare availability. A quick call to FC should clarify how many seats left in each fare code.

Agree it's the fare availability. I found one time on Aer Lingus that the fare was much dearer when booking 2 as they were wanting to book the two at the higher fare. I just booked two separate tickets, one at the lower fare and one at the higher one

Which I guess comes back to the IT question - why can't the system be intelligent enough to do a single booking for multiple people across different fare codes where needed...
Oh wait, booking everyone at the higher code brings in more revenue. What a silly question that was!
