Baby in UC - Skycot or no skycot?

Hi guys,

We're looking for any advice / experience that anyone has taking a baby in UC. Mrs nibbs and I are on a 747 to MIA next year and are just wondering whether to go for a skycot or not. Junior will be 9 months when we fly.

I've searched the site and found some posts from a couple of years ago that suggested that a skycot sits at 20D/G (is this still the case?). We currently have 12A/K at the front of the bus but are in two minds. I also found a photo that Tinkerbelle spotted which looks pretty cool but I don't fancy the idea of the seat belt sign okey cokey!

Thanks in advance!

Look for mdvipond's trip reports. He has taken his daughter in UC since she was about 14 weeks old. Although there have been other destinations your best bet is a Barbados flight

Edited to add: Found one

Good grief. That's a blast from the past, HL.

nibbs - for what it's worth, I'd say stick with 12A/K. A perfect set up for travelling with a wee one, and there's more than enough room in the suite to share comfortably with a 9 month old. And make the most of it - before you know it you'll have to buy jr. his/her own seat...
