(hopefully) no more having to enter details like name, address etc etc before finding out what the CC fees are on sites like opodo and ebookers etc.
Looks like they will also stop firms being able to charge cc fees if there is a 'free' option available but that free option is not widly used.

Yes, the transparency is the main thing - if airlines don't make money here they'll make it somewhere else.
I just get ***sed off by the same old excuse - we have to recover our costs. Having had to negotiate with Visa etc over credit and debit card fees, I know very full some airlines are covering costs many times over.
