V-Flyer

I have an older version of what is today, the VS Flight Tracker App for ipod Touch/iphone. I often check into this App and use the globe tracking device to see where each VS aircraft is going to. I was completely surprised yesterday when I checked into the App and saw on the globe that no planes left the UK. At first, I thought it was some sort of "wildcat" pilot's strike that happened. Then I checked into the mobile version of V-Flyer, which gave more accurate information about the status of VS flights. It seems that flights were operating normally. The globe device on my ipod usually works well. This was the first time it did not work. Was the GPS or other web connection to the globe not working when this happened? Have other flyers experienced this?

I have has intermittent problems with the app as well. I just leave it for a few hours and then come back to it.
