V-Flyer newbie here, so please be nice ;) Have used V-Flyer on several occasions, and found it a priceless resource. Thought it was time to get involved!

Am v excited, as wife and I have just booked our latest trip to the US. We've done the west coast/Vegas a few times now (flying VS everytime naturally!), but thought it was time to try the other side. We're flying out end Aug on VS011 to Boston, and have used miles to upgrade the outward leg from PE to UC. Have been lucky enough to travel in UC twice before (bumped up from PE on return leg from Vegas after our honeymoon 3yrs ago, and outward leg to Chicago last summer using a massive stash of miles, before getting a horrific internal United flight to Vegas!!), and it's been an amazing experience both times (though we didn't get to the CH at LHR early enough last time - have learnt our lesson!!!).

Anyway, the only downside on our last trip, was when reserving seats in the UC cabin, the seat map suggested they'd be facing each other, but in reality they were offset, such that my wife was sat behind me on the opposite side of the aisle. Given I can't remember what seats we had, does anyone have any tips on which two seats would be best? Ideally want to be mid-cabin - not too close to the bar, but near enough ;-)

Any tips greatly appreciated. Can't wait to post my first TR in just over 5 weeks!!!

Thanks!

I would recommend that you take something like 3,4,5,6K as you will be facing the wall or alternatively 10,11,12,13,14! for the same reason. The are all good seats and any two adjacent ones would be good

Hello and welcome!!

I'd suggest 11 and 12 A more privacy as not facing anyone and easy to pop your head round for a chat.

Another recommendation for the 3,4,5 K option (which you may find have been snaffled already ).

I would always recommend seating one behind the other if travelling as a couple as it is so much easier to talk to each other rather than shout across the aisle - and some people really do shout rather than talk across the aisle at each other even in the middle of the night when everyone else is trying to sleep! xx( :)
