Hello all.
I am off to Boston for the first time in a couple of weeks and arrival time permitting do you think 3 hours is enough to clear security/customs to get another flight onward?

That seems a perfectly reasonable time for Boston.

It usually takes me about 5-10 minutes max to go through customs and then another 10-15 if I've checked bag. Transfer between terminals is also very easy (and walkable if nice out). You'll be fine.

If you're a citizen or resident I'd say half of that would be plenty, FrankBoston's experience is about right, 20 mins unless something really screws up with bag delivery. If you're a non-rez it can be more of a lottery, but three hours will be ample.

Took me well over an hour to clear immigration recently and that was moving fast out of UC to the queue.
If your flight is on time it shouldn't be a problem. You won't be waiting long for bags.

The walk from one terminal to the other at Boston can be quite interesting - there is a corridor with rocking chairs over looking the apron, and another with art on loan from the Boston gallery.
