Hi all,

I am flying on VS39 to Chicago and am wondering if anyone can tell me about seats 42A and C in Economy please?

I know these are bulkhead seats, but is the legroom ok? Has anyone had a good experience with these seats?

Also, are the seats a lot narrower?

Anything anyone can tell me about these seats would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!

The seats are slightly narrower because your tray table is in the armrests.

Regarding legroom, it is difficult, because the space from the seat to the bulkhead wall is more than if there was another seat in front of you, but you obviously can't then stretch your legs out as far because of the wall.

OK many thanks .. so would you choose those seats over a standard 2 together in Economy?

Personally, no. I'd rather have the slightly wider seat and also be able to stretch my legs out fully.

Do remember that bulkhead seats can only be allocated on the day at the airport usually.

The other advantage of a bulkhead seat is that no one is able to recline into your space.

But also to take into account is that the bulkhead row in the middle section is usually where familes with babies are put too.
