Virgin Holidays

I had to cancel my Virgin Holiday for this summer =( but have re booked for next year =D

When I cancelled the holiday, I got an email and a voucher type code to use for a discount off next booking.

"I have, however, also issued a ‘Re-book Discount Voucher’ to the value of your original deposits which may be used against a Virgin Package Holiday booked before 16.05.2012, subject to new deposits and an admin fee of £35 per person, payable at the time of booking."

Does this mean the booking needs to be made before 16.05.2012 or the holiday itself needs to be taken before the 16.05.2012?

Sounds to me like it just needs to be booked before the 16.05.2012, but I guess only VH could clarify 100% for you.

Most vouchers are of the "booked before" variety but it's no harm to check

I'm suprised they actually give you a voucher when you cancel, most companies just take the deposit as non-refundable.

Also, seems a very reasonable amount of time to re-book!

I have had the rebook voucher code, its valid as long as you book another holiday before the expiry date

If I have to cancel my VH, I always ask for a Rebook code.
