Am I correct in assuming an Au card holder and 1 guest can use the "First Class Lounge" in T2 prior to flying back PE from LAS to LGW?

Thx.

Not sure what you are reading to come up with the conclusion, but you were correct in the first instance, the Au card holder and 1 guest can access the first class lounge at LAS.

Fair enough! Must have mis-interpreted what I read (thought it was only UC passengers in the LAS lounge) very happy to be wrong... :D

No, Au holders always get lounge access.

I think there is some confusion as the shared lounge page on the VS website states

Where Virgin Altantic Airways does not have its own Clubhouse, an alternative lounge is used. These shared lounges are either owned by the Airport Authority or another airline and are offered to our Upper Class passengers.

Yep, that's exactly what confused me. Good old clear Virgin web site... ?|

I never even read the wording, what a stupid way of putting it, especially in the Au FC section.

There is a sign outside of the lounge at LAS saying business passengers only, no airline membership cards accepted, which worried me when we flew back in PE last week, but when I produced my AU card my partner and I were invited in with no problems at all.

Usually if you check in at the airport you will receive an invite to the lounge which you hand over with your boarding card. We didn't have these last week as we used the excellent check in service at the Palazzo but it turned out not to be an issue anyway. :D
