Hi there,

Can anybody tell me. The IFE systems on the 747's, can you pause them in upper class or are they the same systems as economy PE?

Thanks

Hi, and welcome to V-Flyer.

The systems through each plane are the same in all cabins. What may change is the configuration of the aircraft as some have IFE that you can pause and rewind while others have a much older system where the entertainment is on a loop. You don't say where you're traveling from but as a rule of thumb all the A346s and the LHR 747s have V-port which you can pause, etc. The new A330s have V-JAM which is the most modern system and the LGW/MAN have either Nova or Odyssey which is on a loop. The A343s all have this system except for G- VSUN which has V-Port

If you tell us the flight number and date we might be able to be more specific.

If it's a plane with UC on it (so a 747) then it'll be the non AVOd system so you won't be albe to! (if you're travelling this year that is, these aircraft will be refitted starting next year so may have a more modern system then!)
