There is a good reward seat sale on also. 30K for Y and 55/60K for PE. I've just booked two PE seats to MCO for 60k miles and £600 (using the AmEx upgrade voucher), bargain in my book.

Definite bargain, we are looking to do the same to MCO for this September/October only snag is my next 2 AMEX PE vouchers aren't due until the 24th August so fingers crossed our preferred dates are still available, although we can be flexible by a week or two

I checked for NYC in Nov and it was coming out at @ £1,750. still not too bad a price compared to what is has been.

The best price I could find for MCO ex AMS through expedia was around £1850, around £300 cheaper than ex UK, so the £1711 quoted isn't too bad.

Your SFO fare was a bargin y) y)

I guess its like most sales, some suit our needs, some dont.

This one (because I was going to book 2 seats at lunchtime at £2200 and couldn't because I had a few computer issues to deal with) is good for me :D :D :D

Can you tell I'm happy lol :D :D

Someone on another thread said they got this fare for early September.

It would depend on what dates you wanted plus the sale fares for that flight might have already gone.

So, my DH & I have 58,500k miles between us. If I transfer DH's miles to my a/c. then find a PE reward flight Man to MCO for 55k and DH buys 4000 miles, can DH then buy a PE M+M? So we'd both go for the price of one. Does that sound possible? Sounds too good to be true to me :)

You can't transfer miles between accounts unfortunately

Oh well - I said it was too good to be true :)
However on second thoughts, I could buy 10k to get the 55k for the reward flight & DH already has enough miles for his M+M PE. I don't know why I didn't see that before.

You can now, BUT they charge you to do (a bit, not much cheaper than buying/gifting miles), just log in to your FC account for info.

It depends on how your miles are split, if it is a pretty equal split, you can you 27,500 from each account as that is the cost of a one way miles flight, and that is allowed.

Yes it is. It's only in the last few weeks that it was noticed

OK then - I'll have a look at the options as to whether to use miles for a reward flight for each of us one way or for me to get more miles & book a reward both ways & DH to get a M+M. I do have most miles 44k while DH has 14k.
Thank You for replies.

Katie :)
