Are you providing a flight too?
If you really want a hair cut then 8.00 might be leaving it too late to get there

Alas not!!!
Do you really think 3 hours won't be enough? I've only ever flown from there on evening flights before (DXB/DEL/HKG) and had no probs then but it might be different in the mornings?

Its not that 3 hours (well 2 1/2 as you need time to board!) won't be enough it is that the CH a lot busier in the mornings so less chance of getting a treatment.

The mornings do get very busy with all the early-ish and mid-morning flights leaving and remember your flight will be called around 10:10am which leaves a very tight margin as they will not offer you an appointment after around 9:30am. The reception area has a list of flights together with a final time for all of them

3 hrs is ample for us; infact we get bored after 1 hour these days so only ever plan on checking in 2 hrs before take off. The issue will be getting a haircut which is a popular "treatment" and one that the very regular fliers can and do book ahead.

That may well be true of the very top tiers of Gold members but the ordinary Joe Soap flying in UC cannot book ahead

I am aware that you did mean UNIQ but I didn't want the OP to think that it was a possibility for him to pre-book

Thanks all, I might go a little bit earlier then. Very excited about my trip (pleasure) so prob won't get huge amount of sleep anyway.
Thanks for clarifying HL- I've only got plain Gold so won't be eligable for prebooking

Hi there, this may seem like an extremely stupid question, but does one need to be a virgin customer to avail of being someone's guest in the gold lounge? I usually fly Virgin but went with Delta for my October trip to New York for cost reasons...I think I will live to regret the decision...
