Just booked an October holiday via Virgin Holidays to the
Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua. Booking procedure by phone all very smooth & I was happy to receive 10% discount due to VA Gold Card status. As four of us are travelling I have booked two Gatwick Clubhouse places & note the price has increased from the £35 per person I paid a the last time I needed to purchase to the new rate of £50 per person.

The Verandah resort looks ideal for our needs, so hoping it is good. Has anyone stayed at this resort ?

As travelling economy fingers will be tightly crossed for op upgrades, I know this is highly unlikely but on two previous occasions {Bahamas-Gatwick & Gatwick-Cuba} have been lucky enough to have family of four upgraded from economy to premium.

ISTBC but it's been £50 for ages.
All FC members (red, silver, gold and tier above gold) get the 10% discount as do MBNA VS Amex card holders (both black and white). It really does make a mockery of the so called benefits afforded to VHs own FVC club .
