Tried to find the answers but couldn't so here's hoping someone will know !

Have just booked LGW-MCO and the plane is showing as the new A330 with JAM IFE on board

The blurb says you can plug your own USB devices in (PE cabin) what exactly can be plugged in? USB thumb drive? Also it says you can plug in an iPod, so dies this mean also iPhone and view content from it - videos etc? If so what about an iPad?

Lastly i guess the answer is yes but i take it the seats have power? if so what is the connector empower? or something else?

Thanks in anticipation. :)

I can answer that one - you can use your normal plug as the seats in PE are fitted with electrical sockets.

To plug in an view content on your ipad/phone/pod you will need a video export cable

http://store.apple.com/us/product/TX890VC/A

They are supposed to be offered for sale on board but there was none available at Easter when we flew. I had to order one from Apple US and get it shipped to the hotel for the flight home.

Thanks

I wonder if any of our lovely crew who help us out here can confirm if they are now available and how much ?

It's not even in the retail therapy listing so you can't even pre-order it.

Seams like VS want to say they offer the facility yet make it less than easy to actually use it !
