Flying out to Orlando on 1st October on VS015.....have read a bit about the V Room.....can anyone recommend it? Is it worth the £20 pp?
Is the food freshly prepared as ordered, or just brought out and kept heated?
Cheers

Just clarify, are you booked through Virgin Holidays? The V-Room is only for VH pax, you cant buy access if you are booked direct with VS.
If you are booked with VH, then the V-Room does get good reviews, do a search on here as there have been numerous threads about it, and the facilities offered.

I can certainly reccommend the V Room.
It is definately worth the £20 for the food and drink alone. I would much rather start my journey relaxing here than stuck in the terminal for three hours.
You won't be disapointed.

I used the V Room in Feb with my husband and two children (ages 6 and 8) and I thought it was brilliant. Really relaxing and calm, barely saw the children due to the quality of entertainment for them, and it really calmed my flying nerves watching jumbo after jumbo take off without incident. There is more food and tea and coffee than you could ever wish for. I think alcohol has to be paid for, but hats off to people who can drink in the morning, I can't! You do have to be booked with Virgin Holidays to use the V Room (we only booked flights, car and theme park tickets with then, doesn't need to be a complete holiday) but I thought it was worth every penny.

We always find lounges value for money, infact I think they save us money! If we are in a lounge having a bite to eat (which we would buy at an outlet anyway) & having a drink (ditto - although it would be likely to be alcoholic!)we are not spending in the shops...The V Rooom is very pleasant, the food is fine £20 a head..you cant go wrong!
